All website's are designed to W3C standards which gives your website an advantage over many others when it comes to being search engine friendly. They are also designed for Web Accessibility, this means that your website will be usable by people of all abilities and disabilities. When designing your site SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) is taken into account thus ensuring that your web pages are accessible to help improve your page ranking with search engines like Google, Ask, Bing etc.
I can include any business / organisation logos, photographs, pictures or graphics in your website. I can also offer you the ability to update pages from your own computer, for example if your organisation runs various events during the year you can put the details in or take them out as and when you want or if your business needs to update prices etc. Alternatively I can update your website, normally, within 24 hours.
To assist you in making some decisions about your website I have produced some guidelines and a questionnaire which you may want to print for guidance. Website design is a two-way communication, between you and the web designer.
During the design process you will be kept up to date on progress. Initially I will do a basic design with your suggested layout and colours. As work progresses you will be able to view a live, work in progress, version of your website so you can comment on content and colours etc. Finally, before your site is published to the world wide web you will be able to view what your visitor will see.
